We have moved to Western Australia from New Zealand and love everything about living here except the drinking water! I’ve never needed a knife and fork to drink a glass of tap water before….. But here we are!!!
Our 7 stage RO water filter has made all the difference! We have now been able to stop buying plastic enclosed water and are drinking straight from the tap again!
One thing to note is it takes 45lts of water to make 8hrs! Which did surprise me. However after I did the math. It’s still a tiny percentage of what we were paying for bottled water.

we have rainwater sieves on the house but these do not prevent ingress
